Step 1
Cut one of the large Racing Car dies from your chosen cardstock. You will also need to cut 4 of the wheel dies to create your racing car design as this will be attached to the final body of the car. A spoiler die cut is also required to complete the final design of the car.

Step 2
Fold along all of the crease lines of your die cut. The key above shows that all lines in this colour are valley folds. All lines in this colour are mountain folds.

Step 7
Glue the flap as shown to the inside of the highlighted edge. You will need to turn the die cut over at this point as this is the under side of the car and provides strength to the rear end. The key on the right shows the flap which needs to be adhered to the corresponding highlighted edge.

Step 11
Glue the flap as shown to the inside of the racing car body. This forms the shape of the cockpit of the car and the whole of the highlighted area needs to be glued inside. If it is not then the edges of the cockpit will not meet and it will distort the appearance of the car. Step 13
The spoiler of the car fits through the two curved cut lines at the rear of the car as shown in the diagram on the right. Curve your spoiler around a pen or pencil to create a gradual curve as this will make it easier to thread through the cut lines. Once this is in place it should add rigidity to the rear of the car and the 2 end panels which it threads through should now be perpendicular to the body of the car.

Step 14
Glue the highlighted flaps to the inside of the highlighted circles edge. To make this easier you can curve the rectangular face which the flaps are attached to using a pen or pencil. You can also use a pair of tweezers to hold the flaps to the face while the glue dries.

Step 16
Glue the highlighted piece to the inside of the highlighted edge. The fold lines should create a stepped face which sits away from the face of the tyre. You can also use a pair of tweezers to hold the flaps to the face while the glue dries.

Step 17
Glue two of the tyres to the opposite sides of the cockpit just before the nose begins to taper to a point. Glue the remaining two tyres to each side of the rear end pieces which the spoiler is placed through.

Step 18
You can now embellish your design using the additional decorative set of dies. The steering wheel and seat are attached to the inside floor of the cockpit while all the other embellishment dies decorate the outside of the design.
